Ptah

Ptah created the wqorld through the creative power of speech. He became the god of craftsmen and architects. He wears a craftsman's cap rather than a crown

He has a complicated sceptre. The top is the sceptre of Seth (Set). Then there is the ankh, seen in many places in this website! The bottom is the djed pillar. Isis found the body of his husband, Osiris, in a pillar of a palace, and this is the djed pillar (see Seth (Set)).

Ptah is embodied with the sacred bull Apis. It was chosen because of its markings, such asa white triangular marking upon its forehead. It was kept at Memphis. When it died, it was given a splendid funeral.
