Flowers - Amaryllis

Amaryllis grows from a bulb. It is a house plant, and is not frost hardy. This flowered January.

I don't normally do house plants, but I have a happy meemory of an amaryllis at my parents' house when my son was about 6 months old. "Look at the pretty flower! NO! LET GO OF THE PRETTY FLOWER!"
