Flowers - Crocus

Crocus grows from bulbs. These flowered in February, a cheerful sight at the end of winter! The common colours are purple, orange and white, although we have some cream. Mine seem to eventually all become pale purple. They even seed, and end up in different parts of the garden.

I have had arguements with people about whether the colour of a crocus is yellow or orange. I think they're orange!
