Flowers - Iris

Iris are strange plants! The big ones grow from rhizomes, which are rather like tubers. I don't have any of those. The little Iris reticulata and Iris histrioides grow from bulbs, flowering February to March. Then there are some other iris , which is tall, with quite a small flower, and grows from roots. These flower late May.
