Flowers - Nasturtium

Nasturtium are an annual. These flowered in May, but there were flowers well into autumn.

I grow these from seed. I'm always hoping they will seed themselves, but I'm not sure they have yet. The seeds are large, and the plants vigorous, so they seem to work well even if I sow them in place (in my extremely over-crowded border).

They have a range of colour, and there are different varieties. Some are bush and some are climbers or at least, stragglers. I always try to get the small bush types, and as you can see, seem to fail to do so. Perhaps it was something to do with the weather.
