Ornamental Sage is a perennial, but it acts like a bush, since it doesn't die back to the ground each year. This flowered in April-November. This is a long flowering season, and it's a cheerful flower, but it is a very vigorous plant. I had to hack it right back mid-summer. The flower colour seems to change throughout the year, as well.
This is a sage, but an ornamental variety - Salvia microphylla. I'm not sure where I got it from - a stall somewhere, no doubt!
It eventually got out of control, and I dug it up!
