Flowers - Rose - Iceberg

This is a rose called Iceberg. It is a floribunda, with lots of flowers on a single stem, but the individual flowers are quite small and simple. It flowered May-June and then started flowering again August into September.

This rose was a favorite of my mother's, and I think she bought it for me. Originally it was a vigourous plant, but it's growing less now, with less flowers. Perhaps it's getting old! The flowers are pure white without any other hint of colour. However, this year the flowers at one point had red spots on (see last photo). I'm not sure why! I assume it's some kind of infection or bug. But I don't use insecticide or fungicide or anything else ending -cide in my garden. There were still lots of flowers this year, and the plant still looks reasonably healthy.

The original rose died in 2023, so I replaced it. Here is the new rose:
