Flowers - Snow in summer

Snow in summer is a perennial. These flowered April to May.

I'm not sure where I got this! Probably a plant from someone else's garden. You not only get the brilliant white when it flowers, but the grey leaves look good as well. It does grow long stems outwards, occupying more ground, so needs cutting back if it grows where it shouldn't. Its formal name is Cerastium tomentosum.
