Flowers - Willowherb

Willowherb is in our wild flower patch. This is at the bottom of our garden, and is looked after by my husband. He plants a packet of wild flowers, and we get wild flowers. I'm sure that wild flowers shouldn't be that easy to grow!

There are different types of willowherb. This is Great Willowherb, which grows tall! Rosebay Willowherb is shorter, and is also called Fireweed. This is probably because the seed heads look rather like smoke. However, it also grew in burned-out buildings during the Blitz, which seems appropriate.
