Weeds - Couch Grass

Couch grass looks similar to ordinary grass, but it is a weed which spreads through roots. It looks more straggley when it is growing. If you dig it up, you will find a long root, possibly with more couch grass growing out of it. So you need to remove the root as well as the plant above ground. It is one of the pernicious root weeds, but it isn't too bad in my garden.
