Goosegrass has sticky leaves and small stitcky round seed heads. Sometimes my jumper is covered with them! Very irritating. I presume that it spreads through seeds, but it does have annoying roots. The roots are quite fine, and it's easy to break off the plant above the roots, rather than pulling the roots up as well. Then the plant promptly regrows! Goosegrass seems to be worse in late spring.
