These parish entries may, or may not, be relevant to Robert Dible/Deeble, who emigrated to Dorchester, Mass. in 1633. They were found by my parents, John and Celia Dibblee, who said "These are photocopied from a transcript of the parish register of Glastobury St JOhn. The transcript has been checked against the original register which is too frail to photocopy. Both are lodged at the CRO at Taunton."
They show that Robert Dibbell (or Dibbill) had three children baptised as follows:
1605 | Johnes |
16 Apr 1609 | Johana |
17 Feb 1611 | Fraincisca |
There is the normal muddle about dates. See discussion on dates.
For more on this, see Robert Dible/Deeble, near the bottom of the page, under Theories.
