In making this website, I have made several maps to locate places important to the Dibble/Dibblee family. These are scattered throughout the website, but I have also gathered them together here.

Robert Dible and Thomas Dible came from the West Country. It is not known exactly where, but Glastonbury is a possibility. The first ship for Dorchester, Massachusetts, left from Plymouth. Rev. John Warham lived in Exeter. He was on that ship. He was one of the leaders in Dorchester, Mass., and later moved to Windsor, Conn. Dorchester, Mass. was named after Dorchester, north of Weymouth. The ships of Robert and Thomas Dible both left from Weymouth.

Robert Dible and Thomas Dible came to Dorchester, in the Massachusetts Bay Colony, in the 1630's.

Thomas Dible moved from Dorchester to Windsor and died in Windsor. Ebenezer Dibble the older and Wakefield Dibble were born in Windsor.

The Dibbles in Connecticut are Thomas Dible, Ebenezer Dibble the older, Wakefield Dibble, Rev Ebenezer Dibblee and Frederick Dibblee (later Rev).

Rev. Frederick Dibblee was born in Stamford. He moved north because of the American War of Independence and settled in Woodstock. George Jarvis Dibblee was born in Woodstock, and lived and died in Fredericton. Frederick Lewis Dibblee, senior was born in Fredericton. His wife lived in Moncton, and her family came from Halifax.
