Outline Celtic knots examples to colour in

It's best to make your own Celtic knots. It's surprisingly easy. Here are several different techniques:-
Felt-tip pen method - good for children
Double strands
Dots method
Copying Celtic knots quickly when seen in a museum
Making Celtic knots on computer
Designer a Celtic knot online:
   simple
   more complex
   tilted

However, if you don't feel that creative, then here are some black and white knots for you to colour in. If you want to know where the knots come from, rest the mouse on the picture without clicking. Click on the picture for a larger version in its own page, or click here for all these examples in their large version on one page. You can use the Print button, or right click on the picture to print or copy or save the picture to your own computer.

You can print the black and white version, then colour it in with crayons or felt-tip pens, or you can save it, then colour it in on the computer using a program like Paint. The most obvious thing to do is colour a continuous thread the same colour, but there are other ways. Try picking out the edge in a different colour, or high-light one part of it.
