Lace trimmed hankerchief
This hankerchief is trimmed with machine made lace. The lace is gathered to go round the corners, which is a common technique. A more sophisticated technique is to design the lace to go round the corner, such as here. But that involves the hankerchief being made close to where the lace was made. The 'gathered corner' technique can be done by anyone buying a straight edge of lace.
