Machine lace insertion

This is an imitation of a bobbin lace insertion, but various parts are made in a different way, which shows that this is machine lace.

This half stitch looks fairly convincing, with diagonal threads, but the other thread is vertical rather than horizontal. The vertical thread is thinner than the diagonal threads, as well.
