Part of a Bedfordshire collar
This looks like an edging, but one end has a larger pattern, and you can see a slight bend in the footside. So I think it was part of a collar, but was cut to make an edging. Or perhaps this was one of a pair, and the other piece lost.
There is a nine pin headside and a half stitch trail. There are half stitch areas with raised tallies on top. Joining things are plaits. There is a cloth footside.
This piece is too big to fit in my scanner (which is how I am reproducing the lace) so I can only show part of it on the right. The entire piece is photographed below to show its shape.
