Description:
Follow the links above for explanation of how to work the different parts of the lace. The different colours show the different colours of workers in the cloth stitch, rather than different stitches. Only the worker pair are coloured to colour a shape. There maybe another pair associated with it in the plaits, so make sure you do enough half stitches in the plait to get the coloured pair together, and in the right place!
This has two trails merging, but uses a diferent technique to pattern 474. All the pairs from one trail are worked across all the pairs in the other trail. This produces a neater merge.
I thought that the trails joined by a kiss stitch looked similar to the eye of a cat, so put them in pairs. But it looks more like a mask.
