Dates of artist: 1837-1890
Nationality: British (my assumption!)
Pillow: flat, on a stand.
Bobbins: hard to see.
Comments: Despite the name, there only seems to be one lacemaker. The costumes seem to be archaic for his dates. Is this a copy of an older painting, or perhaps imagining an older time?
