Description:
The rutile is the lines inside the clear quartz. These are often golden.
Rutilated quartz is also called "Venus hair stone" and "fleches d'amour" (French for arrows of love).
Larger pictures of Rutilated Quartz:
This type of quartz has thin or thick threads of rutile inside it as inclusions.
These three specimens are polished (tumbled) which shows off the inclusions.
This cluster of crystals also has a few inclusions of rutile in, but they are harder to see.
This is a piece of rutile.
