Most string figures are reasonably even-handed. This one does work with the right hand and the left hand is passive. Left-handed people may wish to reverse the instructions. However, if you enjoy doing string figures, you will be used to using either hand. I am strongly right-handed, and managed to do this figure the "wrong way round" (for me). It's up to you!
