Flowers - Corn Poppy

Corn Poppies are an annual. These flowered in July.

These are different to garden poppies, Welsh poppies and Californian poppies. They are a wild flower, and they have always been in the garden. You could call them a weed, but they provide such a vivid splash of red that they are definitely welcome!
