In February 1882, in Southwark, Surrey, Firman LEVETT married Rosina Augusta AYRES, who gave her address here. He was born in July 1860 in Icklingham, Cambs and at the time of marriage was a joiner. She was born around 1861; her father, Harry, was a police constable.

In the 1881 Census the house was occupied by:
Henry AYRES, born around around 1834 in Bottisham, Cambs, and gave his occupation as Police Constable;
his wife Avies (or Avis) M (nee HART), born around 1838 in Cambridge (Bottisham in the 1871 Census, see below), a laundress;
and family
Augusta A, born around 1861 in Cambridge
Agnes F, born around 1869 (shown as Agnes J in 1891 Census)
Albert H, born around 1872 in Cambridge
Lucy M, born around 1874 in Cambridge (shown as Lucy T in 1891 Census)

Purcey [sic], born around 1880 in Cambridge (shown as Percy M in the 1891 Census)

The 1871 Census also showed that Henry and Avis lived in Gwydir Street (?67), with Harry E (born around 1859 in Bottisham, Cambs), Rowener A (=Augusta/Rosina?) (born in Bottisham, Cambs), Rhoda E (born around 1863 in Cambridge), Avies M (born around 1867 in Cambridge, and Agnes J (=Agnes F).

Philip Parr, agent lived in 113 Gwydir St in 1904 (see Spalding's Directory).
