James Redfern, a butcher lived in 9 Gwydir St in 1904 (see Spalding directory). This seems to be a misprint.

In 1853 Darcy John Gardener was born in Pulborough, West Sussex. In 1874 he was working as a carpenter in Cambridge, and he married Susan Redfarn - both giving their address as East Road. They had moved to Brighton by 1878.
In 1877 James Alfred Redfarn, born in Cambridge in 1858, married Susan Gardner in Brighton, and in 1881 he was working there as a carpenter. In 1880 they had a daughter, Susan Mary, but she died in 1885. Another daughter, Alice was born in 1882.
By 1892 they were living in Cambridge, where their daugher Emma was born. The 1901 census shows them living at 9 Gwydir Street, and he was working as a butcher. This seems to tie up both Susan Redfarn (born in Cambridge) and James Alfred Redfarn with the Redfarn family of butchers who lived at many different addresses in that part of Cambridge, such as at 15 Gwydir Street in 1892.
Mrs. White lived in 9 Gwydir St in 1913 (see Spalding directory).
These were found at different times in the garden.
