Honiton lace - cuffSome of the motifs in this cuff are roses. The others look a little like shamrocks, but they could be rose leaves. The motifs are worked in cloth stitch and half stitch. The centres have little tallies, which are joined with a single twisted pair. The motifs are joined with legs with picots, and small patches of half stitch. A cloth stitch trail runs along the bottom edge. This cuff is too big to fit in my scanner (which is how I am reproducing the lace) so I can only show about half of it above (but the pattern is reflected for the other half).
