Description:

Follow the links above for explanation of how to work the different parts of the lace. I designed this after pattern 115, which is an angel with folded wings. That uses the top half of a circle. What would happen if there were two angels, one in the top half and one in the bottom? This is the result - two angels, with the bottom one flying! (It surprised me, too.)

Pattern of lace

This pattern is really a straight edge bent round into circular shape by making the pin holes closer to each other on one edge (the circle centre) than the other. There is a diagonal start (although it looks odd!) with one pair starting at each pin, and two at the edge, plus an extra pair for the twisted footside.
