Description:
Follow the links above for explanation of how to work the different parts of the lace. There are a couple of small scallops to start and end the pattern. They are worked exactly like an ordinary scallop.
There are some grey lines joining different parts of the pattern, such as the zigzag and the scallop. The pairs need to be twisted between the pins. Sometimes this happens naturally as they leave the previous shape. But if not, give them an extra twist.
This is not a repeated pattern as it stands, but of course you could repeat it. There is a little Torchon ground at the start and end to provide a neat start and finish, which could be part of the repeat, or the pattern could be overlapped.
