   how to work wiggly lace

Description:

Follow the links above for explanation of how to work the different parts of the lace.

This wiggle is based on a hexagonal grid. As usual, you need to work in triangles, starting from one dark grey line, work down down to the dark grey line, then turn the pillow for the next triangle.

I must admit that I found this pattern more challenging than I expected! The changes of direction confused me, and it's not quite as easy to sort out directions of Bucks Point net and honeycomb as it is for Torchon ground. It is very important only to work one triangle at a time (between the dark grey lines) - this will only have one headside. Start at the top. I found it easier to work in lines, from headside through Bucks Point net, then the gimp, then the honeycomb, then more Bucks Point net, ending at the bottom dark grey line.

You may spot where I forgot to cross the gimps!
