This tries out two new ideas (to me): the checkerboard ground, which is a type of rose ground, and twisted hole ground, which surrounds the whole pattern. You could, of course, replace the checkerboard ground with rose ground, and the twisted hole ground with Torchon ground.

The Spanish name for twisted hole ground is punto monja, which means Nun's point (I think). I called this pattern River for a rather complicated reason to do with nuns and drowned maidens. But you can ignore that!
