Pattern of lace

The start is along a diagonal, so one pair starts at each pin, and two at the edge. Above, I have marked the position of the false pins. The grey numbers show where the passive pairs start (they are white in the photo). The red numbers show where the first worker colour pairs start, and the second worker coloured pairs both start at the edge (blue number).

The colours on the pattern mark the colours of the threads rather than different stitches. All the diamonds and triangles are cloth stitch. All the diamonds and some of the triangles change the worker pairs half way through. They swap workers where they touch, but since some of them touch more than once, the pattern makes with a pink dot where the swaps occur. There are also swaps at the edge, between the worker pair and the edge pair, also marked with a dot. If the swaps happen elsewhere, you won't get the pattern!

The triangles are at the edge, rather than having a footside outside them. They could be considered as flat fans.
