This pattern is very similar to the Cloth diamond pattern, except that there is a clever use of colour! Start the coloured pairs where marked, or it won't work. Work all the diamonds in cloth stitch, as half stitch won't work either.
Each diamond starts with two pairs which are the same colour. Choose either to be the worker pair. The other pair stays within the diamond as the middle passive pair.
