Description:
Follow the links above for explanation of how to work the different parts of the lace.
The important part of the pattern is the colour. Each unit of rose ground represents a rose, naturally, so I've made it red. The fans are representing the leaves, so they are green. The lines separating the roses must be a different colour, so they are green as well. So it is important to start each coloured pair as shown, to make sure that they end up in the right place to work the roses.
The fans have all passives twisted half way through so make the lines shown. This was supposed to be the stems of the leaves. I'm not sure it works - you can leave them out if you prefer.
Remember to twist all pairs leaving the cloth fans.
