Pattern 541 - Swirl

Picture of lace

This is is part of my exploration of English Midland type lace. It's quite pretty, but I can't recommend anyone else trying it! As you see, I gave up after two buds. It is very hard to disentangle what it happening where one "swirl" crosses another. Pattern 542 is a much better version of this idea.
