Bucks Point patterns for beginners

Click here to find out about equipment for lace making, and how to set up your pillow, and make lace.

These patterns are for people who want to learn how to make Bucks Point bobbin lace. There are different styles and traditions of bobbin lace. Bucks Point lace is made on a hexagonal grid, which makes it more suitable for flower-like patterns. However, it tends to "muddle up" the bobbin pairs, which can make it harder to check that you haven't made a mistake.

The patterns have numbers on them. These are in the order that I designed the patterns, and have no other significance!
