Bobbin Lace patterns - Letters and numbers

I designed a piece of lace for my sister-in-law, spelling out her name, Ruth. It worked, in a way, so I designed the rest of the alphabet, and the numbers. There are two forms, vertically (since letters tend to be taller than they are wider), and horizontally (which is more natural to read, but takes more bobbins). There are numbers as well, perhaps for a date or year, such as a wedding or birth.

Apart from the 'Ruth' lace, there are no photographs of the worked lace, as I have not worked them! But you can see the effect from the 'Ruth' lace.
