Mint Sauce

Ingredients
spoon chopped mint leaves
spoon sugar
spoon vinegar

chop mint leaves
an hour (or less) to steep

This is a recipe for people who grow mint in their garden. Pick off the top leaves which are tender.
Chop the leaves and put into a small bowl. Add an equal amount of white sugar and vinegar.
Leave it a little to allow the sugar to dissolve and the mint to be stteped into the vinegar.

I don't give amounts. You use equal amounts by volume, so it depends how much mint you have, and how much sauce you want!
I use balsamic vinegar because it isn't too strong tasting. The traditional vinegar used is malt vinegar. But I should think you could use any vinegar.
