
This is my recipe for soda bread. This uses bicarbonate of soda rather than yeast to make the bread rise (I used SR flour). This is, as usual, my own recipe rather than an authentic Irish recipe. Traditionally, one should use buttermilk, but I used yoghurt instead. It tasted a little odd. Maybe better to use skimmed milk.
