Elections were held on Thursday 4th May 2000 in 152 English Local Authorities. 21 of these elected all members of the councils, marked "all up" in the table (links are to Statutory Instruments describing Boundary Changes); the remainder were for one-third of the members of each council (approximately, in the cases of councils whose membership is not divisible by 3!).
