As of 31st Januuary 2026, elections are scheduled for Thursday 4th May 2028 in 97 English Local Authorities.
On 7th September 2026 all outstanding reorganisation plans (apart from Surrey) were paused. This list has therefore, for the moment, been restored to its original state.
