Trailer - Local Elections May 2029

It appears from the announcement of 16th July 2026 that no further elections will be held for County and District Councils, and 17 existing Unitaries. Shadow authorities elected in 2027 will take power in April 2028 with their next elections in 2032. Therefore, elections are scheduled for Thursday 3th May 2029 in just 10 English local authorities.
