Trailer - Local Elections May 2030

It appears from the announcement of 16th July 2026 that no further elections will be held for County and District Councils, and 17 existing Unitaries. Shadow authorities elected in 2027 will take power in April 2028 with their next elections in 2032. Therefore, elections are scheduled for Thursday 7th May 2026 in all London Boroughs and 41 other English Local Authorities.
