Discovery - Sculpture by Lucy Giendinning, 2005, commemorates the life of Francis Crick.
I'm not sure if these are benches or an artwork (or both!)
Cobbler's Last - Sculpture by Graham Ibbeson, 1986, to represent the town's shoe and boot industrial heritage.
One Angel Square, Angel Street, Northampton NN1 1ED
The Guildhall is a grand Victorian town hall - very impressive! It is next to All Saints church. There is a modern square next door (very well built and fitting in) which has some art. There are stiletto heel planters in the centre, in front of Northampton Tree by Richard Perry.
There are realistic statues of Northampton celebrities round the edge of the square, all by Richard Austin.

Castle Park is on Chalk Lane, off Marefair. I think the posts are supposed to show where the castle was.
Becket Park is between Victoria Promenade and bedford Road.
People shown are John Clare 1783-1865 the "Northamptonshire peasant poet" (see above), Charles Rennie Mackintosh 1868-1928 (see 78 Derngate) and W.J.Bassett-Lowkes 1877-1953 (also see78 Derngate). 78 Derngate is close by.
See Delapre Abbey walled garden.
On way back from Delapre Abbey.
We had a day out at Bletchley - the code breaking place. There is a direct train from Northampton to Bletchley.
This is a memorial to the code breakers. It is by Charles Gurrey, 2011. This website says:
One block bears the sculpted names of the 'Outstations'; the other has the words 'We also served', formed of letters at various angles within circles, evoking the wheels of the Bombe machine. There is a Morse Code message engraved on the back of the memorial, which translates to "My most secret source".
