Le Pompe is a mid 16thC lace pattern book. This is my attempt to reproduce one of the patterns.

cloth stitch and twist
lazy join
plait
Details:
Winkie pin twisted footside (pink)

Description:
Follow the links above for explanation of how to work the different parts of the lace. The plaits have various colours, so you can trace where the pairs making up each plait go. The plaits cross using a lazy join, as usual.
