Description:

The dragonflies are made with pseudo gimps - that is, a pair of threads rather than a single thick thread, worked through crossing pairs with cloth stitch and twist, but otherwise treated as gimps (using no pins).
The "picots" at the start are just a single pair, with a slip kinot round the pin.
