This is one of a series of experiments to see what happens if we have a simple strip of ground.

Bobbins: 6 pairs (1 pair gold, 1 pair sparkly blue, 4 pairs red)
Style: Torchon
Stitches:
half stitch
cloth stitch and twist
Details:
double Torchon ground (grey, green and pink)
twisted footside (grey)

The sparkly pairs are offset from each other. The double stitch in the middle makes them double back, which gives a different effect to pattern 131.
If you prefer, you can make both sparkly pairs the same colour.
