Here are several lists of presents for wedding anniversaries. The first list is a jewelry list. It is a little strange, since topaz, a precious gem, is at 16th, earlier than silver. Jacinth (which I presume is the modern stone - a zircon) is later than garnet, amethyst or topaz, all more conventional gem stones. I've assumed that Cat's Eye is Tiger's Eye - very odd at 39th. It's an attractive stone, but you can pick up polished tiger's eye extremely cheap at rock shops!
The second list covers other materials as well. The reference to 'sugar candy' makes me suspect that this is at least partly American (although I found it in Brewer's Phrase and Fable). 'Electrical appliances' suggests that this is definitely a modernlist! The early anniversaries seem to mix materials which would make good presents (wood, leather, fine linen) with materials such as paper and flowers or fruit - stingy!
The third and fourth lists come from an American website which is no longer there, but is repeated in Wikipedia. The third list is traditional and the fourth modern. The third is similar to the second, but not in the same order. I haven't even included all the fourth, since it takes in every year up to 50th, with increasing implausible gifts, such as 'Improved real estate' and 'Optical goods', and for 49th says rather pathetically 'Luxuries, any kind'!

I think that you should only buy something from these lists if you like the material or gemstone. They are mostly designed to make you spend money!
